Time-Saving Tips Unveiled: 7 Hidden Features in Your iPhone's Calendar App for Effortless Planning

7 hidden features on your iPhone's Calendar app that will save you time:

Set your event time precisely (and faster):

Tap the sliders to bring up a keyboard.

There are six different calendar views to get control of your time:

  • Yearly
  • Monthly (with and without a list)
  • Daily
  • List View
  • Week View (turn off the portrait orientation lock for this to work)

Let Siri manage your calendar events:

Say "Add a meeting to my calendar," or "Move my 12:00 meeting." and it will take care of the rest. Siri will ask for any missing info along the way.

Reschedule an event with ease:

Tap & hold, then navigate to the new day using a second finger and release your event.

Tap and hold to cut your old event and create a new one in different slot. You’ll then get the option to paste in the previous event.

Show only the most relevant calendars with Focus Filters:

Go to Settings > Focus, select "Add filter" and pick your desired calendar for that focus!

Now you have filtered out all unnecessary events.

Share your full calendar in a few taps:

Go to a calendar (or create a new one) and tap the "i" to its right. You will then have the option of sharing it with someone.

(Depending on your provider's security settings, this might be hidden, but it works with iCloud.)

Never forget a birthday again:

Add birthdays to your contacts and their birthdays will appear in your calendar.

(Adding the birth year helps you know when it's a round-day celebration.)
