8 little-known ways to get more out of your Apple TV:

1. Calibrate your Apple TV's color display

First: You need tvOS 14.5 or higher and an iPhone with Face ID to do this.

Go to Settings → Video and Audio → Color Balance and start calibration.

2. Customize the remote buttons on your Apple TV

Go to Settings → Remotes and Devices Click on TV button to make it show the Home Screen instead of opening the Apple TV App.

Go to Settings → General → Screen Saver You can then select how often you want to download new screensavers, and which you want.

It is also possible to set up a screensaver with your own photos from iCloud.

8. Customize the subtitles on your Apple TV

Go to Settings → Accessibility → Subtitles and Captioning → Style

You can then select a larger size, or click on «Edit Styles» and customize every aspect of your subtitles.
