10 iPhone hacks to DOUBLE your productivity:

1. Restrict certain apps

By using screen time you can restrict how much time you use on certain apps. Make someone else set up the password to enforce the restrictions.

  1. Go to Settings > Screen time
  2. App Limits and «Add limit»
  3. Get someone else to set your password

2. Delay opening apps that you don’t want to spend time using to be intentional about the usage:

  1. Download the app «One sec»
  2. Follow the instructions in the app to set it up

3. Set different home-screens

Set different home-screens based on time of day or location:

4. Put your iPhone in grayscale

By doing this you’ll immediatly spend less time on your phone:

  1. Settings > Accessibility
  2. Select Display & Text size
  3. Tap on Color Filters
  4. Turn Color Filters on

5. Hide content slot machine apps

Hide apps that constantly refreshes with new content:

  1. Long-hold on the app you want to hide
  2. Click «Remove app»
  3. Click on «Remove from home screen»

6. Schedule your notifications

Unnecessary notifications distracts your focus. Turn them off by:

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications
  2. Select Scheduled Summary and turn it on
  3. Select which apps you want summaries for

7. Set your phone permanently on do not disturb

You can still allow certain people to interrupt you or wake you up by turning on «Allow Calls From Favorites»:

  1. Go to Settings > Focus
  2. Do Not Disturb
  3. Turn on every day from 9-9
  4. Allow calls from favorites or select apps

8. Turn off Raise to Wake

Raise to Wake lets you quickly see notifications on your lock screen every time you lift up your phone, which is not optimal for focus.

  1. Go to Settings > Display & Brightness
  2. Turn off Raise to Wake

9. Block certain websites

  1. Go to Settings > Screen Time
  2. Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions and turn on
  3. Select Content Restrictions
  4. Select Web Content and then «Limit Adult Websites»
  5. Add websites you want to block under «Never Allow»

10. Set up Text Replacement shortcuts

Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement
