Offload Unused apps:

  1. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage
  2. Tap Enable Offload Unused Apps

You can also go into an app and offload it.

This way, your iPhone automatically uninstalls apps you don’t use. They aren’t entirely gone: They download again when you open them.

Delete pre-installed apps you don't use:

  1. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage
  2. Select each app you don't use and click "Delete App"

Clear your ram:

  1. Turn on Assistive Touch under Settings > Accessibility > Touch
  2. Hold down the "power" button and the "volume up" button until you see the screen for powering off your phone
  3. Tap the Assistive Touch icon (a gray circle), then hold the "home" button.

Delete downloaded videos you don't need:

  1. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Review Downloaded Videos
  2. Click edit
  3. Click the red dot that appears next to the video
  4. Click delete on the videos you don't want

Clear your browsing history:

  1. Go to Settings > Safari
  2. Scroll down and click on "Clear History and Website Data"

Clear cache from other apps:

This is a bit tedious since most apps don’t give you access to their cache or other data:

  1. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, and tap on an app at the top of the list.
  2. Select Delete App
  3. Go to the App Store and reinstall the app.

Delete attachments in messages:

  1. Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
  2. Scroll & tap on Messages
  3. Select Photos or gifs (NB: Top Conversations will delete entire threads)
  4. Tap on edit
  5. Mark what you want to delete
  6. Tap the trash icon
  7. Repeat for other content

Delete offline content:

Netflix:

  1. Open Netflix
  2. Go to Downloads
  3. Tap on the pencil icon
  4. Tap on the red X

Spotify:

  1. Open Spotify
  2. Your Library
  3. Downloaded
  4. Click on playlist
  5. Tap on the green arrow below the playlist
  6. Tap remove

Make sure your iPhone is optimizing photo storage:

  1. Sign in to your iCloud account. It’s the same as your Apple ID.
  2. Settings > Photos
  3. Turn on iCloud Photos
  4. You can also tap "Optimise iPhone Storage"

Your photos will now be synced to iCloud. (Free up to 5GB)

Automatically delete old messages:

  1. Go to Settings > Messages
  2. Tap the Keep Messages option under Message History.
  3. Select if you'd like your iPhone to retain text messages for 30 days, one year, or forever.
